CPE on sight

Hello to you all fellow readers of my lonely blog! As usual I haven´t been posting regularly when I first said I would write daily for you guys. But now I´ve got a couple of excuses, got a new job, new home, everything changed in my life.
Today I put in action another part of my plan that made me leave my beloved country. I went to the University of Westminster to get some information about the Cambridge certificate of English I so crave to accomplish. I filled out some forms, gave my card details and now I am just waiting them to debit 95 pounds (ouch!) from my account and then on the 11th of December I will be there once again to face the so feared challenge of surviving (and passing) the CPE.
Apart from that my life´s been really busy with my new job at Harrods, by the way, have you guys ever heard of this luxury department store? It´s supposed to be THE most expense and rich store in the world boasting brands in the same level as Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Armani. It´s a completely different reality, almost surreal if you will from we are used to.
It´s amazing how much money some people has, people from the Middle East , Qatar, Emirates Arabic, India most of them owners of the oil. They simply don´t have the notion of the money themselves owned. Women spending thousands of pounds everyday in clothes, bags, perfumes, and when I say “everyday” I literally mean every single day. Money that would take me months to earn are spend by then in a single purchase. And then you think of how many people are dying of starvation in the world ….
But let´s talk about me since this is my blog not theirs. I am quite happy at this job, it´s the first time I work for a big company. Lots of people, different departments, going out for a beers with my colleagues after work, and the money is really good also. But the best of all is the hours. Working in hospitality business and not have to work late in the evening is almost like winning the lottery.
Now I have an important announcement to make. I really have to practice my writing, but telling stories about my life in the blog won´t improve that much my skills, I have write essays, use a more formal style of writing, so from now on, or until a do my exam, I’ll try (try huh) to write compositions, essays rather than gossiping about my life for you guys.
